The Secret Sauce
As we embark on our journey, I’ll ask the right questions to uncover the truth about why you need a new website and exactly what it is you’re trying to achieve. At times, some of these questions may seem a little uncomfortable or repetitive. In fact, if it doesn’t get a little awkward, then chances are I’m not doing my job.
After I grab all of the details, I’ll begin building a visual sitemap so we can keep in sync about the best way to structure your information and what we’re trying to communicate. Here’s an example of one I created.
I could spend my time trying to tell you what I intend on building and hope that you understand my jargon, but instead, I’ll build an interactive prototype in the browser to show you first hand how my solution will work. This is strictly functional, no design at this stage and it may look a little funky, but it will paint a pretty good picture for you very quickly. Here’s an example.
This is where the fun begins! Here I’ll drag out my crayons and colored pencils to bring your interactive prototype to life and make it blend in with your brand identity. Here’s an example
Last but not least, we dive deep into the trenches to make sure all of the details are cared for. Once ready, we’ll deploy your shiny new website to your hosting server for the world to see.
